WGUK Board elected at Championships

Following the nomination process, that took place in the weeks leading up to the 2009 WGUK Championships, the elections to the Winterguard United Kingdom Board took place during the day at The Brentwood Centre on Saturday 4th April.

WGUK are pleased to advise the following result:

Mark Gutteridge was re-elected as Chairman
Veronica Hope was re-elected at Deputy Chairman
Martin Ibbs was re-elected as a Board member
Mark Nicholson was elected as a Board member
Dave Parris was re-elected as a Board member

The new Board of WGUK have now re-appointed Jason Oates as the Judging Caption Head/ Co-ordinator.

The WGUK Board will be meeting shortly to discuss plans for the 2010 season and also the continuation of the Judge training that commenced in 2008 and have already allocated the weekend of 9th & 10th May for an event which will be open to both judges and instructors and full details of this will be announced shortly.
