2010 WGUK Contest dates confirmed

Following the releasing of the draft WinterGuard United Kingdom contest dates for next season, the WGUK Board have now approved the schedule for 2010, which includes the potential for one extra contest from 2009, and are pleased to confirm the following events:

Sunday 7th February - Huddersfield Sports Centre, Southgate, W Yorkshire

Sunday 14th February - Charter Hall, Colchester, Essex
Sponsor: Alliance Promotions

Sunday 21st February - Filton College, Bristol, Avon - awaiting confirmation

Sunday 28th February - Fenton Manor Leisure Centre, Stoke On Trent
Sponsor: WGUK

Sunday 14th March - Triangle Leisure Centre, Burgess Hill, W Sussex
Sponsor: Southern Knights

Sunday 21st March - Sheffield - venue to be confirmed
Sponsor: Northern Academy 

The season will culminate in the 31st British Championships on Saturday 3rd April at The Brentwood International Centre, Essex.

Registration for the 2010 season commences in September and, following this, full details of each show will be available in the Contests section of the WGUK website.

WGUK will also shortly be announcing some exciting plans for Indoor Percussion for 2010.
