Following the Dance & Movement Showcase virtual events we held in February and March we are now moving on and opening these up to be events for all types of Winter Guard based performances – dance, movement, equipment, flag, weapon or any combination of these and we are pleased to announce we will be hosting a Performers Showcase which will premiere on the WGUK Facebook on Sunday 11th April and then be available via our YouTube channel a few days later.
This virtual performance opportunity is once again for individuals or home bubbles or, as regulations relax, any grouping, as long as it is within current social distancing rules, and again it is free to enter and equally you are free to decide your choice of style, music and preferred costumes – designers / performers choice! 60 – 120 secs of performance, no rules!

We are planning on potentially two more Performer Showcases following the April event – one in May and one in June – with hopefully some extra features to help you get even more involved. More new regarding this soon.
Everyone is welcome to showcase and these sessions will be presented inline the WGUK Virtual season age groups. Anyone, any age, can perform!
Now that restrictions are starting to be lifted we hope the Showcases will provide the membership and their staff a focus to encourage their performers with a goal. Additionally, this provides a training and support opportunity for staff and members, plus continued engagement.
Once again WGUK are excited to share your performances, whilst bringing our activity and community together during these unprecedented times.
