- Accelerating – explore more complex moves and combinations. Recommended 5+ years’ experience
- Aspiring – focus on movement and equipment, elevating technical and advanced performance skills whilst understanding the benefits to planning phrase lengths, range and variety
This will be a clinic based event where performing members and staff will have the chance to take part in sessions covering all aspects of our activity including flag, weapon and dance.
In addition we will be holding session for instruction and administration staff covering the following subjects: Safeguarding, Teaching Methods, System Awareness (Effect, Design, Equipment & Movement), Fundraising, Marketing, Future of our activity plus possibly others if there is demand for additional subjects.
Once again the event is being held at Chesterton Community Sports College. Castle Street, Chesterton, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire. ST5 7LP and we are pleased to advise that for the 3rd year John Kregler (Colour Guard Caption Manager at Blue Stars Drum and Bugle Corps and Colour Guard Director at Timber Creek High School Band) will be in attendance to run training sessions
Also this year, in conjunction with Drum Corps United Kingdom, on the Saturday we will be running SoundSport sessions for those that took part this in this years events plus those interested in finding out more about this new and exciting part of activity both as a performing unit and also if interested in judging.
There will be a charge of £5 per day per person to attend this event including lunch however all participants need to make their own way to the event plus organise any overnight accommodation at their cost and provide/bring their own equipment.
Please note – we do require you to bring your own equipment BUT if you need assistance with this then let us know in the last section below.

Nearer the event we will require confirmed numbers attending including names, ages and for the instruction and for administration staff what topics/sessions they will be attending.
