:: Spintastic 2024 – Thank You ::

On Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th May over 100 performers, instructors and administrators (representing 11 different Winter Guard and Band/Drum Corps organisations) attended our first ever whole weekend Spintastic training and learning event held in Newcastle Under Lyme, Nr Stoke-on-Trent

We had three levels of instruction and we would like thank all those that helped with the teaching session but with particular thanks to the three session leaders:

Aspiring – John Kregler (and massive thanks to John for traveling over from Texas for the 2nd year to run this group)
Accelerating – Becky Huls
Growing – Ian Butt
…with these groups also being supported by staff from Mayflower, North Bristol Independent, Oracle & Southern Knights.

In addition there were numerous “admin” sessions covering a wide range of subjects and thanks to the facilitators of these sessions:

Massive thanks to Karen Muskett and the team from Commodores that provided catering for everyone throughout the weekend and also to Rob Swindells and all at Chesterton Community Sports College for being such great venue hosts

And finally, thank you to all the parents (especially those that provided transport to and from the event and stayed all weekend) who allowed their children to come along and be part of Spintastic 2024

We hope all those that attended made some great memories and also new friendships (as well as learning new skills and ideas) and we look forward to our next event – watch this space for details!!
